LUPARA Part Ways With Bassist, Seek Replacement
December 19, 2003LUPARA, the new Illinois-based band featuring former BROKEN HOPE guitarist Jeremy Wagner, have parted ways with their bassist and are currently seeking a replacement.
"LUPARA's original bassist recently left the group as he was unable to adhere to the work-ethic demanded by the band," reads a post on the band's web site. "LUPARA now seeks a bassist who is completely driven, dedicated, professional, and who wants to go as far as possible. Interested bassists must be at every band practice, must have pro-gear, must have transportation, must be focused, and must want to tour. If you like CHIMAIRA, HATEBREED, LAMB OF GOD, SLIPKNOT, etc., then you'll love LUPARA. We are heavy, intense, tune to 'B' and live to make music and perform. We currently have 12+ original songs written, we have a 3-song promo-CD recorded and ready for release in January. Also, we have a nice rehearsal spot in the Chicagoland area (Niles to be exact). Contact: [email protected]"
LUPARA will still be performing on Saturday, December 20 at Penny Road Pub located at 28W705 Penny Road, Barrington, IL 60010. LUPARA will hit the stage at 11:00 p.m. Cover is $5.00. For more information call: 847-428-0562. LUPARA will be using a temporary bassist for the show in the form of good friend Tom Brandner (original guitarist for NUMSKULL).
Jeremy and LUPARA drummer Fred Braun will be in Los Angeles and Anaheim, California to attend the annual NAMM show from January 15-18, 2004. They will be armed with copies of the new LUPARA CD, so anyone who wants to get a CD in person, or anyone who just wants to come up and say "Hi", please contact: [email protected].
